Jeddah - King Abdullah Sports City Stadium (100,000):

It is reported that plans have been revealed to build a sports city in Saudi Arabia to include a massive 100,000 seat stadium. The kind Abdullah sports city project, similar to Dubai Sports City, the USD4 billion mixed use development sports development built around five major sports venues, will be built north of Jeddah following approval from King Abdullah. The project will include a specialist hospital to treat athletes, indoor stadiums and youth hostels, Arab News reported on Thursday. Jeddah Mayor Adel Fakieh  said that the new facility would boost sports and youth activities in the kingdom. He said that "King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah will be a huge cultural landmark and a symbol of comprehensive development in the kingdom. "He said the project with advanced and modern facilities would allow the kingdom to host major Arab and international sports events.
